HEIC Converter is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your images are personal — they should stay that way.
Your Files Stay on Your Device
All file decoding, format conversion, metadata extraction, and ZIP packaging happen entirely within your browser. Your HEIC files are never uploaded to any server. No image data, file content, or file metadata is transmitted over the network at any point during the conversion process.
No Authentication Required
You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use HEIC Converter. There is no user registration, no email collection, and no profile creation. You can use every feature immediately and anonymously.
No Watermarks or Limits
HEIC Converter does not apply watermarks to your converted images. There are no daily usage caps, no premium tiers, and no feature restrictions. Every conversion tool and feature is available to all users without limitation. The only technical constraint is the 200 MB maximum file size, which is a browser memory consideration rather than a usage limit.
No Third-Party File Transmission
HEIC Converter does not load third-party scripts that have access to your files. The only network requests made by the application are for loading static assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript bundles), web fonts, and the conversion libraries themselves. No file content, image data, thumbnails, or file metadata is ever sent to external services.
Analytics
We collect anonymous traffic data to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are most useful. This data includes only aggregate page views and general geographic regions. Analytics never include file names, file contents, image data, conversion results, or any information about the files you process. No cookies are used for tracking individual users across sessions.
